8. Knowing- I've watched it 5 times and it's great
9. 2012- Sorta freaky really since it's about the end of the world but still a fairly good movie
10. Angels and Demons- Really good, makes me want to finally see The Davinci Code

I love The Queens Meme.....It's truly one of the most original Meme ideas out there and really makes me think about things. It opens doors to allow me to be my smart ass self and I've met some other really cool bloggy people as well.

Anyway, this weeks theme is about blabbermouths. This should be interesting.

1. When you were a child did you ever blab a family secret and get in trouble for it later?
It wasn't really a family secret but I remember one time when we had moved to the beach, my aunt had loaned my mom some blankets and pillows til we got settled. Then my Mom and My aunt got into an argument over it and my aunt came and got them all. The next morning I was talking to my friend on the bus about it and my psycho cousin stood up screaming "I KNEW YOU'D TELL SOMEONE!!!!" I didn't get in trouble by anyone that mattered but it took me years to realize that other than him being an asshat he was probably embarrassed by the way his Mom acted.
2. Have you said anything in the last 24 hours that you regret?
Well no, not really. I mostly have only talked to customers and the kids. Not much room to get in trouble there. Give me time though, I'm never good for more than 36 hours in a row. I'll likely hack someone off and feel bad about it before the day is out.

3. Have you ever blabbermouthed something to a significant other that in hindsight you really should have kept to yourself?

Nope,I don't feel I should have to keep secrets from the man I love. If I do, it's time to part ways.
4. Have you ever written anything on your blog that you wish you could take back?
Nope, not a thing and if you've read here long you know I've had some pretty interesting things to say, particularly to the Psycho Stalker. She needs help, and now apparently someone in her family does too. Must be where she gets it. I don't regret a thing I've said about that whackjob or any of her equally crazy friends and family. If they would move on with their life and leave me alone, I wouldn't have anything to say.

5. Are you the blabber or the blabbee? Tell us your most embarrassing blabbermouth moment.
I guess i'm the blabbee. I don't really tell anyone else's secrets but I generally am the first person to hear what is going on in everyone's life as far as the family goes. Sometimes that's good but often it just puts more stress on me because i'm the worrier of the family.

6. Who is the biggest blabbermouth tattletale in your household?
DANIEL! That boy can't keep a secret to save his life. For instance, there was a girl where he works that he really liked. He was talking to her and they were texting each other constantly and they were supposed to go out on a date. Welllllll, before they went out together, Daniel went out with Jonathon. The next day the idjit goes to work and tells this girl about how he got phone numbers from other girls the night before. She uhhhhhh, still isn't speaking to him to say the least.

7. You are the Blog Paparazzi! Which blogger's real photograph are you most interested in getting?
I'm not really sure i'm all that interested in seeing anyone's real picture. I may change my mind later though I guess.

8. If you could hire the loudest and most skilled blabbermouth in the universe to do your talking for you and advertise it well, what message would you like to spread to humanity? Don't hold back.
Hmm, Frame this........
It's a historical moment folks.......likely to never happen again lol.

This weeks Edition calls for something a lil bit different than the norm. I went by the following instructions and my result is posted below.

Queen Mimi Decrees thou shalt create your own CD cover as follows:

Go to......

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
Go to the bottom of the page and find the NEW RANDOM QUOTATIONS button. Click it. The last four words of the very last quote that appears on the page is the title of your album.

3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result.

My Result:

Since I'm a heavy metal fan i guess the band name isn't all that much worse than some of the others that are out there, but the album title "Is what he believes" has me thinking that might actually almost be cool. Almost.

What would your CD cover look like? Join Us and show it off.

Ever had a place in your house that you just can't seem to fit with the rest of the house? For me it's my back porch. Yes, I know that it's the BACK porch and it's not really seen by anyone but us but I like sitting out there on nice days and I really wish it were more comfortable. I can use my new Dallas Cowboys Chair that I got for Christmas out there, but that's just ONE chair.

I got some Begonias when they were on clearance and put them in some decorative planters and that helped a little but it still doesn't look exactly right. I am thinking about finding a patio table of some type and putting another smaller planter on it. I love flowers and herbs and such so I am sure I can find something that will work. There are frequently free patio tables offered on a local website that I could likely get a nice table from. I might have to paint it or clean it up bu that would be okay. Once I do that I'd just need to get some swivel stools or even some bar stools to go with it. I'm really interested in the tables that sit a little higher than normal. So that would look great and be pretty economical too.

That will cover some of the issue but I'm not sure that will completely do the trick. I did find some articles discussing painting the deck wood in patterns and such as well as adding lattice to let climbing plants grow. This would be ideal in the spring and summer for added privacy but not so much in the winter. I have a Jasmine plant I can take clippings off of to get it started so that would be easy enough to get it looking nice in a hurry if I go that route.

Bottom line is that I like being outside. The rest of the house is decorated nicely. I need this porch to fit in. I'm sure with time I'll get it the way I want it but am absolutely not known for my patience lol, more like my lack of any.

During my Meme reading this morning I saw an ad that mentioned "getting paid to do what I already do". Well, I do an awful lot so I decided to have a look and see what it was all about. I clicked the link to go to Trekpay and I signed up. Whoever gets credit for that your welcome, I hope I make you a ton of cash.

Now if someone could just explain it to ME I'd be really grateful. I've read every page on the site that I can find and so far I have no clue really what it is I do that they want to pay me for. I THINK it may have to do with seeing ads and/or searching through their site. I can't be sure though because it doesn't really tell you.

What I can tell you are these few things:
A. They apparently are currently in Beta and a new thing is coming up that will be in their words "Koo L"
B: They are paying weekly via paypal
D: There's some sort of bonus going on but I couldn't tell you what the bonus is because they don't tell you either other than it's cash. A penny extra could be considered a bonus though so I'm not positive the bonus is much to squeal about. I could be wrong though.
D: The site isn't very professionally built however it DOES say it's in Beta and to be fair there are plenty of very professional looking sites that are total rip offs so if this one really pays, who cares what the site looks like?
E: They have this evil little message that comes up after you click on their advertisers links. I almost feel like my legs could be broken if I don't do something exactly right. Here's what it says.
So anyway, does anyone else know anything about them? I can't imagine they pay a ton but I'm willing to give them a chance to keep me occupied for a few minutes a day if it results in something good. Plus now that I've gone through all the trouble to sign up and read their entire site, i'd like to know what the heck the deal is lol. I gathered a few minutes ago that If I click on their links on the search page, it gives me credits. I've clicked on 4 links and have 0 credits still and I get that creepy message above each time I click on one of their links.

Soooooooo, feel free to sign up, let me know if you find out anything or if you already know what the deal is. The first person to tell me will get my entire January earnings via paypal. Yes, I'll hang with it that long to see what happens.

Monday Mayhem is brought to us by Harriet. Here's a bit about it:
Welcome to Monday Mayhem where no two Mondays are the same.
This week we will be focusing on the months of the year.
This meme is brought to us by Anna- the Chocoholic.

January-
Many of us are stuck inside during the month of January.
What is your favorite indoor activity?
Lately it's kicking my kids' butts on Wii Sports. It's the only good thing I've found about the Wii so far.

February
Who will be your Valentine this year?
My man. He's Hubba hubba :)

March
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, what is your favorite green item?
The new shirt I got yesterday that says "That's how I roll". It has the Grinch on it on top of the sleigh full of presents. Very cute.

April
What is the funniest April Fool's Day joke that you can think of? It can be one that has been done or one that you'd love to hear about.
I've never really thought about it, April 1st was just always another day til last year when my cutie pie nephew was born on it.

May
What's the best thing you can say about your mother?
We didn't have alot when we were kids and things could have been better but we were never without what we needed. She always made it work somehow.

June
What makes a father a good father?
It's being available to your kids in whatever way you can. Father's aren't paychecks or punishers when Mom doesn't want to be the bad guy.

July
What do you do to be patriotic?
I'm always patriotic. Not just in July. What do I do? I support my country. I fly my flags. I visit Bobby's grave and thank him and others like him for their bravery and service. I work and try to be a person my country can be proud of rather than a drain on it. I volunteer to help those who need it and I do my best to be a good person all the way around.

August
What do you do when you feel lazy?
Put in a movie to watch and fall asleep usually

September
What is your fondest school memory?
I hated school. Seriously! If I had a favorite memory I guess it'd be when I won the school Spelling Bee.

October
What scares you?
The thought of anything happening to my kids or family. Other than that, I'm not too big a wuss about most things.

November
Describe your ideal family gathering.
One where the whole family is together including nieces and nephews but there is no freaking piano to play. I get the worst headaches from the kids banging on that thing at my Moms.

December
If you could give a very special gift to someone special, what would it be and who would you give it to?
It would be my son Daniel. He is working so hard to save up to buy his own car and be more independent and he does so much to help here around the house when needed. I'd get him the car he needs and let him use what he's saved to spice it up or spend it anyway he wants.

vs

Since the Wii came out, I wanted one. I just loved the idea that the kids could get up and play their games, thereby adding a little exercise into their day. I kept hearing how "awesome" the Wii is and how it's simply a must have for any family who likes gaming.

Well, the kids got one for Christmas from their Dad. As far as having to get up and move around, it's superb. I give it a total A+. After that one amazing fact, it completely sucks.

It's difficult to use that stupid wireless remote. Gawd help you if you have to enter letters from their point and click qwerty keyboard cause it will take you 5 months and for the love of all things holy, if you want to keep your hair, don't you dare try passwords. Cause they come up as " *** " and if you have no idea which letter it actually entered you will be there all freaking year.

You can't play movie discs in it, it doesn't play music discs, it doesn't do ANYTHING else except for a few meager things like get on the internet and shop at the Wii store. To get on the internet you have to spend ANOTHER $20 on an adapter to connect it to the internet and that's if you can even find the darn thing.

On the other side of this.......the Xbox 360, which the kids got last Christmas from my parents literally does everything. It comes with an ethernet port at no extra cost. It connects to your pc with the click of a button so that you can watch your media from your pc on your tv without having to download anything else or paying anything else. You just need an ethernet cable. You can watch movies on Netflix without losing any quality at all. You can watch DVD and listen to music cd's as well. Just by simply putting them in and clicking a button. It's a simple, easy to use, easy to understand system. Period.

If *I* had bought the Wii, I'd take it back and get another Xbox360. Since I didn't, I'll enjoy the fact that the kids have to get up to play games and wait for XBox to develop the same technology. I predict that once Xbox has the same ability with the remotes, Wii will need to revamp their entire system and add quite a few perks to sell anymore. For me, i've seen enough to know I'll just be sticking with my XBox. Thank you Microsoft!

I was visiting my bloggy pal, Thom, this morning and found this meme and well.......it's cute, I haven't had the opportunity to be a smart ass in over a week sooooo........It's TIME!

So hear goes. My very first installment of Saturday 9. Enjoy :)

Saturday 9: You Shook Me

1. What celebrity would you just want to shake some sense into?
Charlie Sheen. For someone with so much talent and money to be able to afford counseling, I am really disheartened to learn he's an abuser. I've known he has some issues, but this latest hangs it for me. I love Two & A Half Men but I won't be watching it anymore. What Tiger did is bad, but what Charlie did is far worse and how much is the media talking about it? Not as much as they are Tiger!

2. What do you think comes after death?
According to the Bible and all the lessons I learned in Sunday school.......Paradise. They better not be wrong dammit!

3. What is the first book that you can remember reading by yourself as a child?
Probably the Dick and Jane books. I remember reading them and thinking they really needed to do more than see Spot run.

4. What was the first rock concert that you attended?
Motley Crue on their "Carnival of Sins Tour!! It was GREAT!

5. If you were to suddenly become famous, would you choose a stage name? If yes, what would it be?
Hmmmm, I think i'd just be "Nessa". If I came up with anything else I'd probably forget it and blow my real identity anyway.

6. What is the one thing that you wish the media would stop talking about?
Tiger's sponsorship losses. I truly don't care who he shagged. It's not our business. That's between him and his family and no one else. I never bought anything because someone endorsed it. The sponsors are just ignorant. They're all bellyaching over how much they've "lost". How much did they make before all this happened though? *I* don't buy things just because someone sponsors it but millions of morons do and When you hang millions of dollars on a human being......shit happens....pull up your big boy panties and deal with it.

7. If you could be part of any band, which one would it be and who would you be and why?
Nickelback or Motley Crue. I don't have any musical talent other than singing so i'd sing back up and drool over Chad or Nikki. Why? Have ya seen them? Hubba hubba.

8. Do you live close to your immediate family members? If not, how far away are they?
They all live within 30 minutes of me. It's nice. Before we moved they were an hour and a half away and that made Holidays harder.

9. Last seasonal question (promise): What did you do on New Year's Eve?
I slept......with all the stress I had over the holidays I needed it. It's just another day. I did go eat my blackeyed peas and cabbage on New Years day though, no point taking any chances.

Well, that's it for my first time.......join in or just go see what others answered with!

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday filled with smiles and all the things they wanted for Christmas. The holidays around here were interesting to say the least. I won't go into detail, but suffice it to say I'm glad it's over.

The kids were happy with their Christmas. They got some clothes and other things. Their Dad got the older 3 a Wii. I'll be doing a review on that shortly. They got Zune mp3 players from their Granny and Pawpaw. They LOVE those! I don't think they've turned loose of them since they opened them on Christmas Eve. I'm glad they like them but I am getting aggravated with repeating myself constantly. I try to tell them something and they of course can't hear me. UGH!

New Years was sorta boring. The older boys went out for a little while but didn't go to their normal hangout because it was closed for a murder investigation. This is the first time anything really bad has happened there so it's not like this is a bad place to be. It's a typical college town bar is all it is. The murder occurred in the parking lot and for all anyone knows may only be related to the bar in that it was their parking lot. There's really not a lot of details available last I heard. Sad regardless.

Ash was really sick for a good part of the holidays. She's okay now and resting but she worried me a great deal for awhile there. Thank God that's over!

All in all, I'm ready for life to return to normal. I need to work about 80 hours this week to make up for the hours i've missed due to Ash being sick and all. It'll take me at least 3 days to clean the house and catch up on laundry. I'm REALLY looking forward to that. Hear the sarcasm there?

Anyway, Happy holidays are over, life resumes to normal.......I hope.
