Stop The Presses, This Stuff Really Works!

For many years, well, really All my darn life, I've had curly hair. Except when I was bald and during that disastrous haircut I have anyway. I don't know where it came from really. There's a joke that my grandma put some kind of curl serum on my hair and that did it, but I suspect I probably came by it naturally. My cousin has very curly hair and so does her daughter, hers is actually beautiful though, and my Uncle does as well. So i'm thinking Grandma is off the hook. I couldn't really be mad at her anyway.

Regardless of where it came from, I have curly red hair. I can straighten it if I use a ton of product and redo it about 7 times. or I can wash it and throw 6 pounds of gel in it to let it curl up. In all honesty, it's more like 8 pounds of gel, but no matter the amount, there's one real big issue. I live in Texas. It's not only freakin hot here, during the summer it's like a darn swamp because of the humidity. There's the problem! For women with curly hair, humidity ruins every thing in Texas. I hate it!

There's nothing that can be done about it either. The local news has a hair report everyday. For me this means I can see just how bad a hair day i'm going to have and do something about it. Usually it's best to just plan on a hat. Or I could move...but that would just present other problems. Luckily I am always willing to try new stuff in the hopes that something might actually work the way it says it does and this time I got lucky!

The other day I was at wally World and I saw this bottle of Eversleek. I had seen it once before and didn't pay attention but this time I spotted something that made me do a double take. On the front of the bottle it said "Humidity Defying Leave-In Creme". Cue the heavenly angels singing. I bought it and the next day I tried it. It really does defy Humidity!

I have used it 6 times now and it hasn't let me down yet. My hair is soft, flexible and frizz free and so far all I have used is that one product in the line. I'm going to start trying the rest as well including the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is going to be awesome! I'm sure of it.

Thank you Loreal for such an awesome, affordable product that really does what it says it will.

(PS I was not paid for this endorsement, nor was i asked to review the product. I simply love it and felt it should be shouted from the rooftops!)
