W.W.W. Wednesdays, My First Edition

Today I decided to join a Wednesday Meme. Why? Hell if I know lol. This one looks fun though and maybe it will rev my interest for books to read. I read every night and sometimes I get tired of reading the same authors. So maybe this will help me find some good reads. Lets hope anyway!

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

My Answers:
Currently: I am actually working on 2 books. One is a Daily Devotional and the other a Thriller. I'm nothing if not confusing lol.

The first one and probably the most important one is "Experiencing God Day By Day" by Henry T. Blackaby and Richard Blackaby. Normally, I'm not a daily devotional type of reader. I like my Spiritual books, but not a one page at a time type. I have to say though that this one is very uplifting and superbly insightful. I actually hate having to put it down after reading the passage for the day and I can't wait to wake up so I can read the next.

The other......a total study in contrast is "Silenced" by Allison
Brennan. This is one of her Lucy Kinkaid novels, which I happen to really enjoy. Allison is also one of my favorite authors as far as thrillers go. This book is pretty good so far. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and will likely finish it tonight. If you like thrillers, you can't go wrong with Allison Brennan.

I recently finished reading "Tattooed" by Pamela Callow. It's another Thriller and it's not a bad read but I had a hard time really getting involved in it. I think it was probably because I was torn between wanting the real heroine ( Kate Lange ) and the partially bad girl winning in the end. I tend to like clear cut bad guy, good guy books.

What will I read next? So far it's looking like it will be "The Girl Who Disappeared Twice" by Andrea Kane. I like Andrea's books a great deal so I'm actually trying to get to it as soon as I can. Then again.......I just started this meme and I am about to go and read what others have answered with. Plus I'm going shopping tomorrow........I may end up with a whoooooole list of books I want to read before the night is over!
